A Design For Life

Today sees the return of the Designer Jumble Sale in association with Vogue.com; a high-fashion take on the classic, British bring-and-buy. In aid of charity, the event features thousands of donated items, from Jimmy Choos to vintage Pucci, all for accessible prices, with some items up to 90% off the original RRP.

Organised by Abigail Chisman, the former Editor-in-Chief of Vogue.com, the event will be staged at the gothic Church of the Annunciation in the heart of London’s Marble Arch. With free entry it is a luxury bargain hunter’s paradise and at Positive Luxury we already have our elbows sharpened to take on the crowds for a fashion fix that actually gives back.

Echoing Positive Luxury’s take on high-end fashion, Chisman speaks passionately about the event- “The Designer Jumble Sale is about great style and sustainability. We want to remind everyone that charity still matters and cheap fashion is a false economy. This event proves that designer items have long-term value unlike what’s churned on and off the high street.”

The event starts at 11am today (Wednesday 21st September) and runs until 3pm at the Church of Annunciation, Bryanston Street, W1H 7AH. All proceeds go to charity, including ‘Just For Kids Law’ which helps to change the lives of young people for the better.
